Born in Winnipeg, Dr. James Yue moved to Calgary with his family at an early age. After receiving his BSc (with Distinction) from the University of Calgary, he went on to obtain his DDS from the University of Alberta in 2005. After returning to the Calgary area, James began his career as an associate dentist at Main Street Dental in Airdrie.
Dr. Yue moved with his family to Chestermere in 2008, and with the vision of providing dental services to the residents of his community, Dr. Yue established his first practice, Chestermere Dental, in 2009.
Dr. Yue has been immensely fortunate to have worked with Dr. Roger Warwick of Main Street Dental for the previous 7 years, and in 2012, Dr. Yue was given the opportunity to purchase Main Street Dental from him. Since Dr. Warnick wanted to reduce his hours yet still practice dentistry, and Dr. Yue was already so familiar and comfortable with the Main Street Dental patients, the team, and the philosophy of the practice, it was not a hard decision for him to take over the practice.
Although Dr. Yue practices general dentistry, he especially enjoys working with children and helping people overcome their dental anxieties.
In his free time, Dr. Yue enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, and cheering on the Winnipeg Jets! He is also a member of the musical group The Emblematics.
